Wedding: Tobi & Justin

Ceremony & Reception: Fort Worth Japanese Garden

Surrounded by family and friends, Justin and Tobi had a beautiful setting for their ceremony and reception. The Japanese Garden is such a great venue, Efra and I were in photo heaven all afternoon. Tobi was just glowing with happiness the entire day! They decided to see each other before the ceremony and we had a good hour to roam the gardens and got so many great shots.

Tobi & Justin you guys made our job so easy! Thank you for having us. Can't wait to see the photos from Australia. :)

And just for fun, here is the shot immediately after the one above.

Band: Poison Cherry

This was definetely a little different for me! Nick (the lead singer) was the groom at one of my weddings in 2006. I was so flattered when he asked me to shoot the new promotional images for his band, Poison Cherry. I was a little nervous at first, but they are totally cool guys who were really into our shoot.

Here is one quick shot!

Family: Flores

It was great getting to know the Flores family! They contacted me wanting to do some portraits for their mom for Mother's Day. We got together in Las Colinas to do some fun family portraits which was great because I hadn't shot there in a while and we had such great weather!

I hope you guys had fun! Thank you for a great afternoon!

I couldn't pick one. So here are two of Tiffany in the sun flare. I like sun flare.

Engaged: Shelby & Kevin

Shelby and Kevin met me at the Fort Worth Botanical Gardens for their engagement shoot and we had it all to ourselves! It was awesome! One of the many, many reasons I love my job is because I get to hang with people that are totally in love and excited to begin their lives together. Shelby and Kevin are just that.

It was great to get to know them a little better and talk about their upcoming June wedding.

Shelby - I'll see you next week for your bridal session! :)

Senior: Jake

I'm finding that I really like doing Senior sessions! Though I must say that Jake's session felt more like a fashion shoot, it was awesome! He is a cutie and has a great sense of style. He even brought his own stylist (in the form of one his best buds) to help out with the outfit changes.

We went out and had some fun around the studio. Jake is seriously a natural model, he is actually a budding actor who not only took great direction but had some pretty cool ideas of his own.

Hope ya'll like!

Family: The Herreras

The Herreras are old friends. Actually, I first met Robert almost ten years ago when we both started working for the same company. We became fast friends and I soon met his beautiful family. Here we are and I can not believe how big Jacky and Jacob are! Man, I feel old. I mean, Jackie was a couple of years old when we first met!

I have been the family photographer for a long time but it had been a while since our last session. On Saturday we got together and shot not only some family portraits but also Jake's senior session (photos coming up!).

Cindy - It was so great to see you guys! Next thing I know, it will be Jacky's turn for a Senior shoot! Yikes!

Engaged: Rita & Luke

I have been doing so much shooting lately! Lots of images to share!

It was great to hang out with Rita and Joe, they are both really laid back, sweet people. We first went to a park in Mckinney with some cool trees and a huge pond. We then moved on to downtown for some city shots.

They will be getting married in late May and if their wedding day goes anything like our shoot, it will be one of the smoothest weddings!

Rita & Luke - Hope you love these!

I know this is a random shot, but there is just something about it I really like.

Portrait: Tifani

A few weeks ago Tifani came to the studio and we made these beautiful photos of her in a Boudoir session. Her & Blake were married this weekend, so now that he has seen these portraits I get to share some of my favorite ones (with their consent of course!).

I have done a few of these sessions now and I have to say that I love them. Tifani brought one her best friends and a suitcase full of goodies to try. She had some cool ideas and was totally open to mine.

I am told Blake loved these and why wouldn't he? Tifani, I hope these not only show how lovely you are, but also a little bit of your beautiful spirit.

Engaged: Shelby & Mike

Sweet Love.

That's the best way I can describe the awesome connection Shelby and Mike have! I had so much fun walking the streets and getting to know them a little better. They are having a destination wedding this summer and just bought their first home! How exciting is that?! That's huge.

I kept laughing because Mike has the best serious face ever. He would be giving us his best 'stainless steel' look and Shelby and I couldn't help but to crack up at his cute silliness.

Loving all the sessions I've had lately! Can you tell? :)
