Engaged: Lauren & Cooper

I am so lucky to have the sweetest clients, and I love that I click with each couple in different ways. Let me tell you about Cooper and Lauren...

Love them. They rock. We were long life friends about 2 minutes after we met.

I love how crazy they are about each other. How Cooper just loves to make her laugh and how Lauren loves his goofiness. I love that they finish each other's sentences and seem to know what the other is thinking with just a quick look. They are like one person. Ok, I have gone into the cheesy side, haven't I? Let me just say that I am thrilled/overjoyed/excited to be their wedding photographer and friend.

That is all. Here are the photos. Really hard to choose. Lauren & Cooper, let's do lunch. :)

Yes, her shoes are awesome, but the painting is pretty special. Cooper painted it and hid it for Lauren to find during a scavenger hunt. She did say yes.

Wedding: Leigh & Brian

Ceremony & Reception: Arlington Hall
Flowers & Decor: A Stylish Soiree (Yes I work with these ladies a lot and I they are fantastic every time)

Let me just start off by saying how blessed I felt to have shot this wedding. The love this group of family and friends had for Leigh and Brian was overwhelming. And how can you not love them? These two are some of the sweetest people I have met and they are sooooo right for each other! It was an honor to have been there.

It really was a beautiful day for an outside ceremony. I am so glad Leigh & Brian decided to see each other before their ceremony, we had plenty of time to do the romantics and then took our time getting all the family portraits during daylight. Their reception was a blast for all of us, and it was such a beautiful setting!

Leigh & Brian, it was an honor to have been there to document such a special evening. It is one I will never forget.

I loved her grandfather's reaction when he first saw Leigh in her gown.

During the ceremony.

Engaged: Kaylen & Nick

Nick and Kaylen will be getting married this fall and their reception will be at one of my favorite venues, Old Red. They are planning some pretty cool surprises for their guests and with the help of Becca from A Stylish Soiree, I know this will be an awesome wedding!

I love it when guys come to engagement shoots just to please their fiancées and end up having a good time. We went out in the awesome weather we're having and found some nifty backgrounds. I like nifty backgrounds...

Kaylen & Nick - you guys were just too easy! :) Loved hanging with you!

Guess what day their wedding will be on?

Family: The Blacks

I love this family! I have been photographing Mackenzie since she was a few months old and now little Sidney is here and I get to photograph her too! I was there when Sidney was born and I can't believe she is is already three months!

Senior: Patricia

This is my cousin Patricia. I can not believe she will be graduating high school in a few months! I remember babysitting her when she was a couple of years old!

She came out to the studio and brought all sorts of fun props to play with and a super cool helper, her best bud Caitlin.

Patricia - you rocked it! Thank you for being such an easy target to shoot at! :)

Wedding: Nyssa & Oscar

Ceremony: Holy Family Catholic Church
Reception: Radisson Hotel

We kicked off the 2008 wedding season with one of our funnest weddings to date. Nyssa and Oscar celebrated with more than 400 family and friends who had been waiting more than 10 years to see these two get married. Actually below you will see the biggest group shot I have ever done inside a church. It was awesome!

After the ceremony, Nyssa and Oscar had a good three hours before their reception was set to begin, so we drove around and had an amazing time getting photos of just the two of them. I loved how Oscar was perfectly happy hugging and cuddling his new wife, they had the biggest grins!

Nyssa & Oscar, Vanessa, Efra and I loved working with you guys! Thank so much for having us.

Right after their first kiss, they lingered for a a few seconds just taking it all in. *sigh*
More than 80 smiling faces here!

Some of the groomsmen really enjoyed the dollar dance...
Some jumping on the bed is always a good way to start a honeymoon...

Just sharing...

This past Saturday I shot an engagement session with one of my favorite couples. I was already excited to get to hang with them and then things only got better when they came bearing a gift for me! :) They saw this shirt and bought it for me! Isn't that so sweet?! For all of you wondering why this particular shirt - Hello! I'm Puerto Rican!

UPDATE: Ok so a bunch of people (ok, 4 people) have asked me where I got my fab new shoes. Macy's! Here you go!)

Here is a preview of their awesome engagement session!

AND, just because... I have been looking for a good pair of comfortable shoes to wear while shooting weddings. We are on our feet running around for 8-9 hours and I needed something cute and comfy. Found it! So excited!

Bridal: Mel

Mel, her mom Debbie and I got together on Valentine's Day for Mel's bridal session, but she asked me to wait until after her wedding before sharing her photos. She and Matt were married last night - so here you go!
I had never shot at Colonial before, but I was totally excited as soon as I walked in - it's a beautiful venue! We pretty much had the run of the place and went all over getting great shots!
