Waiting Week

This week has been the "it should be here any minute" week. It's driving me nuts!

I have been waiting all week for:
*Pictage to release three weddings for me! Three! So, Lauren, Tahera and Kim your photos are ready and will be out there as soon as I'm able to see them. Thank you for being so patient!

*I purchased a camera and it's still not here...

*My new blog! My blog is getting some tweaks and I can't wait for it to be completed. I have so many photos to share but I have been waiting for the new blog to be complete to share them.

A special HAPPY BIRTHDAY to three of my dearest friends: Sumitra, Nelly & Tiffany. Happy birthday ladies. I love you gals!

I AM … happy. A little sick, but happy.

I WISH I COULD … go swimming with Abby more often.
I HATE … selfish people. Putting laundry away.

I DON'T THINK … I ever knew how much my mom meant to me until Abby was born.
I REGRET … losing touch.
I LOVE … my husband, my daughter, my sisters, my parents. My job.
I AM NOT … getting enough sleep.
I DANCE … all the time. Abby loves it.
I SING … only as a whisper. Mostly to Sin Bandera.
I NEVER … carry a purse.
I RARELY … reboot my laptop. My husband is not happy about this.
I CRY WHEN I WATCH … Miracle.
I AM NOT ALWAYS … a great mom.
I HATE THAT … I am not always a great mom.
I'M CONFUSED ABOUT … what song to use on my site.
I NEED … to feel better soon.
I SHOULD … really get more sleep.

Happy News!

I just heard from one of my favorite couples and they are expecting their first baby!!! AWWW! That's so awesome. I'm so excited for them.

Me & Will

Heather had a photo booth at her wedding and Will and I may have gone in there to "document" the fun. Yeah, we had to try it.I crack me up sometimes. :)

Road Trip

So Vanessa, Abby, my dear cousin Patricia and I headed to San Antonio for a little bit of shooting and some unexpected (but much appreciated) R&R. It was awesome! I knew this week would be hectier (is that a word?) than usual since I will be going on vacation next week and I had several things to cross off my list before I leave Monday. It was just what the doctor ordered.

The last couple of weeks have been a little (ok, a lot) crazy for me. Not only is wedding season in full swing but with the house selling/buying it is definetely a little loco around the Wisner household.

My dad came by and to help me chill out, he brought me my favorite ice cream.

Someone is going to get a really nice Father's Day gift! :)

Wayne and I had been thinking of putting our home on the market for the last several months. We love it here, but would love to move closer to his work, my studio, my family, Abby's school and our church. Finally the Tuesday before Memorial Day weekend our home was put on the market. Imagine our surprise when we sold it that Friday! We were in shock for a few days but our fantastic agent, Tara, snapped us out of it and helped us look for our next home since we have to vacate this one June 20! After viewing 30-35 homes Wayne and I were so excited to find one that we both love. This house is so close to our dream house, I am just waiting for this bubble to burst! I am so excited but I can't go into too many details until we sign that dotted line. Well, all those dotted lines...

I am just so excited for my little family. We will be about 8 minutes from my parents (about 30 minutes now) and no more than 15 minutes from everything else. I can't wait!!!

Just had to share our happy news. :)

Cool Tip

One of my super cool brides sent me a link to Distinctive Directions and I thought I would share it with you guys! It is a company that makes detailed map and directions for your wedding guests. I think this is a great tool especially for couples planning their weddings from out of town or for couples expecting a lot of out of town guests.

Just sharing...

This past Saturday I shot an engagement session with one of my favorite couples. I was already excited to get to hang with them and then things only got better when they came bearing a gift for me! :) They saw this shirt and bought it for me! Isn't that so sweet?! For all of you wondering why this particular shirt - Hello! I'm Puerto Rican!

UPDATE: Ok so a bunch of people (ok, 4 people) have asked me where I got my fab new shoes. Macy's! Here you go!)

AND, just because... I have been looking for a good pair of comfortable shoes to wear while shooting weddings. We are on our feet running around for 8-9 hours and I needed something cute and comfy. Found it! So excited!

Vanessa's Birthday is Today!

As MANY of you know, Vanessa is one of my second shooters. She is also my sister and friend. She is a great aunt to my Abby. She is graduating from UTA on Monday. She is an all around cool chick and I am so proud of her.

Today she is 25!!! Love you Sisi!
