Engaged: Matt & Megan

I recently headed out in the beautiful weather we've had to shoot Megan & Matt at one of their favorite hangouts. We had planned to keep walking and finding cool spots and at the end of their session I could not believe I had shot so many photos and we never even left the block. Too much coolness to go anywhere else!

I hope these show how great they are together. How funny and cuddly and laid back they are. I can't wait for their wedding, I just know it will be a great crowd after getting to know them a little more!

Senior: Adam

Adam is such a cutie. He is one of those really shy boys that is really quiet at first and then after they see you are relatively normal they start coming out of their shells and are actually kind of funny. I had a great time with him and his two BFFs (do boys go by BFFs?) walking around and finding some some cool spots.

Today is your birthday so I thought I'd remind you of some of the many reasons I love you.

1. You get up at 5:30 every weekday morning to go to work and allow me to stay home with our amazing daughter while also pursuing my dream job.

2. You gave me Abby. She is the most perfect combination of you and I and my heart is not big enough for the amount of love I have for you and her.

3. You love me even though I'm grumpy when I'm sleepy, can't keep the inside of my car clean (I do try!), would rather eat out than cook, will sit in front of the computer for 10-15 hours at a time, I'm useless the morning after a wedding and like to sleep with the ceiling fan at full speed.

4. You get up in the middle of the night with Abby.

5. You think I'm cute even when I think I need to wear a bag over my head.

6. You like to teach me new things.

7. You let me read the Twilight saga. Twice.

8. You read Abby a bedtime story every night.

9. You let me cut your hair. (this was very dangerous as I am kind of clumsy)

10. Eleven years ago you stopped during a 22 hour drive from Maryland, in the rain, at a pay phone at a McDonald's just to tell me for the first time that you loved me.

Senior: Eddie

I'm finally posting Eddie's awesome Senior session! I have known Eddie since... well since his mom was pregnant with him! I can not believe he is graduating this year. We met at the studio and got to use some walls I hadn't shot at before and some he wanted to make sure we revisited. We then went to a baseball field and met with two of his best buds for some cool group shots. Yeah, hanging with 17 year olds was a little different - but I did laugh quite a bit! I actually have since shot both of his friends' Senior sessions, which I will be posting soon. By the way I'm really loving shooting these sessions! Looking forward to doing lots more!

Leaving Las Vegas

I've had such a great time. I met so many great photographers, saw old friends and learned a few cool tricks! We are doing a little bit of sight-seeing today since we`ve been indoors the whole week but I'm really looking forward to going home and taking a big ol whiff of my little one. Miss her so much!!!
I have a couple of shoots this weekend but will be back in the office on Monday. I will try to blog some photos! :)

Happy Birthday Abby! (and going to Vegas!!!)

My little princess girl turned four today! My goodness, her daddy and I look at her and we can't believe how smart, beautiful, funny and headstrong our baby is. Here is a quick one I took today:


Also, I will be out of office this week attending a photographer's convention in Las Vegas - so excited! I've never been to Vegas or to a convention as big as this one so I'm really looking forward to a lot.

Wedding: Tim & Erika

Erika has to be one of the coolest brides we've met. We laughed so much with her, Tim and their families, they are just a great crowd! They had one of the best DJs we know, Justin Williams, who had the dance floor going all night. I loved their chapel in McKinney, it was so sweet and cozy.

This is our last wedding for a little while, but I do have lots of shoots coming up!
