Bridal: Blakely

Blakely is breathtaking. I can't even describe how much fun I had shooting her around the reception site for her upcoming December wedding, the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth. We had perfect weather and she was the perfect model.

I can't wait to share her photos!

Engaged: Daniel & Blakely

So I first shot Daniel and Blakely's engagement session last December and it went great, they are both so cute and have incredible chemistry. They are getting married this December so we decided to do a mini-engagement session just to catch up with each other and try a cool new spot.

I can not wait until their wedding!!! Not only have I been looking forward to it since November of last year, it will actually be my last wedding of the year! PLUS one of my favorite DJs will be keeping their guests dancing all night, so I know it will be a fun evening!

Engaged: Chris & Christen

The story of how Chris & Christen and I came together is pretty interesting. She contacted me this summer to shoot her upcoming May wedding. We clicked from the get go; she lives in Maryland (where my hubby is from) so we set up a time to meet on her next visit to Dallas. BUT in the meantime, I was booked for her date by another very cool couple! Though she was a little disappointed, I introduced her to my awesome photographer friend Amy and she snagged her right away!

So earlier this month we went to Maryland to visit my husband's family. I contacted Christen since while getting to know her a little bit I found out that Chris had proposed in Baltimore, at Inner Harbour, and being that is a special area to them, I thought, hey 'I can shoot your engagement photos during my visit!'

And that's what we did! Oh, and it was so GREAT! It was nice to shoot in a completely different setting that what I would find here. I mean, you know I love me some DFW, but it was so fun with such old, historic buildings, and being so close to the water...

I can not thank them enough for showing me around Inner Harbour and letting do some very fun shots!

Hope you like!

Wedding: Mike & Angie

Ceremony: St. Andrew United Methodist Church
Reception: The Atriums at Park West

Mike & Angie and I clicked from the very beginning! They were so awesome to work with, from their engagement session to Angie's bridal session they totally let me get creative and we had some fun!

Their families were so sweet, this is a close knit group - Mike's Dad was even the Best Man! Vanessa and I had a great day and thank them for letting us document their beautiful wedding!

Wedding: Cris & Joyce

Ceremony: St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church
Reception: Marriott

There was so much love at this wedding, it's not even funny! I mean, there is love in the air at all weddings :), but you could just tell that everyone in the room was just happy to see Joyce and Cris wed. Their ceremony was at my home church, which is beautiful, and their reception was at the same ballroom my husband and I chose for our own wedding reception 6 years ago. It was so cool being there again!

Cris was born and raised in Germany and many of his family and friends came all the way to Texas to be part of their day. Between them and the rest of the guests, the dance floor was full all night. Oh! And the food was fabulous!

Cris & Joyce - what can I say? We loved being there!!!

Wedding: Edgar & Carmen

Ceremony: Cathedral Guadalupe Church
Luncheon: Cooper Guest Lodge
Reception: Radisson Hotel

My good & talented friend, Kristin, Vanessa and I got to shoot this beautiful wedding. They had over 600 guests by the end of the evening and it was special to me because I have gotten the chance to get to know both Camen & Edgar a little better through their engagement and bridal sessions and they are like old friends. Their families were just wonderful, her dad even serenaded them with Mariachis during their luncheon at Cooper. It was a whole day celebration which capped with some awesome dancing at the Radisson.

We were absolutely beat by the end of the evening but we wouldn't have missed it for anything!

Gracias por todo! Les deseo mucha felicidad!!!

Carmen had some quiet time before the car arrived, so she sat down with her Bible in her childhood bedroom.
The wedding party gathers at the front of the church, it's almost time!
Carmen's parents share a laugh during the maid of honor's speech.

A quiet moment during the reception...

Engaged: Kat & Jake

So you know that I love this couple. They are so deliciously funny! They are just so into each other and have a great aura about them. I loved spending time with them!! I will be putting a guest book together for their April wedding.

We went to the Modern in Fort Worth on a late Sunday afternoon and had it all to ourselves. Jake kept Kat laughing (or was it the other way around?) and before we knew it, it was sunset.

Thank you so much for coming all the way to Fort Worth and hanging with me.

Bridal: Julia

Julia and Neil will be getting married a little later this month. Her and her mom (Hi Pam!) met me at the studio for some fun portraits of Julia in her gown. Her gown is so beautiful, so very unique. I loved photographing Julia, she is so laid back and fun, I can't wait to meet Neil and their wedding party in a few weeks!

Wedding: Albert & Lorrie

Ceremony & Reception: Old Red Courthouse
Flowers & Coordination: A Stylish Soiree

Albert and Lorrie were married at one of my favorite venues, the Old Red in downtown Dallas. The highlight of the evening was Albert's toast to his new wife. He was so sweet! I don't think there was a dry eye in the house. Everyone had a great time dancing to old era classic music (Albert is kind of a big fan). They both looked so happy all evening, and who can blame them?! They left for their honeymoon in Bora Bora a couple of days later!

Here are some of my favorites!
