Efrain and I had the honor to shoot Michelle & Shawn's beautiful, emotional wedding in Fort Worth. Both Michelle's grandfather and Shawn's grandfather are ordained ministers, so they both performed their wedding ceremony. They then celebrated with more than 400 family and friends at the Fort Worth Stockyards Station. They both went to TCU, so they had touches of school pride purple throughout - down to Michelle's garter!

Bridal: Robin

Robin will be getting married this weekend and I have been looking forward to it for months! Though I'm pretty sure she has been looking forward to it a little longer than that!

Robin and her mom Rita came out on a VERY hot day and we shot some great photos of Robin in her beautiful gown. Love it!

Bridal: Angie

Angie and Mike were married last weekend so I can now share photos from her bridal session! :) We braved the hot August Texas heat, took plenty of water and a couple of great helpers (Hi Nancy! Hi Jenny!) and really captured some beautiful portraits!

Wedding: Ryan & Stephany

Ryan & Stephany celebrated their wedding at the Trophy Club Country Club with their close knit family and friends. There was a lot of laughter and dancing, Vanessa and I just hung back and got some great shots, including one of my favorite sunset shots ever!

New Studio - Sneak Peek!

We have been working hard and I am so proud to announce that we have moved into a new studio space! We are so very excited and hope to have it ready in the next couple of weeks!

Wedding: Grant & Kristy

Grant & Kristy had their ceremony and reception at the beautiful Chandor Gardens in Weatherford. If you are looking for an outdoor location and don't mind a little bit of a drive - this place is stunning!

Kristy and her mom took care of every little detail, and when I say 'took care of' I mean they did it themselves! Everything from dinner, to the flower girl dresses, to the flowers and centerpieces... all the details had a very personal touch. Vanessa and I were in heaven! Beautiful location, awesome light, beautiful bride and a groom that kept giving Kristy these loving glances!

Kristy - you and your mom should really write a book on wedding planning! Thank you for having Vanessa and I, we had a blast shooting!

Love Affair Workshop!

Now this won't be happening until February 08, but I am just so excited I had to share. I will be attending the Love Affair Women's Photography Workshop!!!! This workshop is being put together by some of the most talented women photographers out there and I just can't wait to go to learn and share (and shoot!).

Ok, I will go back to doing my happy dance. Hope everyone is having a great summer! :)

Engaged: Jenna & Dylan

Last Sunday I got to shoot Jenna & Dylan's engagement session, and what can I say? We went all over the place! We went from a park in Richardson, to Haggard Park in Plano, to Main Event! I got so many great shots! I can't wait for Jenna's bridal session and for their wedding, of course! I will be putting an engagement Guest Book together for their October wedding.

Erin @ Everbrooke Weddings

My friend from my past corporate life, Erin, has taken a big leap and started her own wedding planning business! After planning her own beautiful Dallas Arboretum wedding and helping countless family and friends (and friends of family and friends) plan their weddings and other events, she decided to start helping other brides too!

She is fun, she is energetic, has a wonderful sense of humor and the girl is just so dependable!

Bridal: Marie

Marie contacted me to do her bridal session before her upcoming destination wedding. The weather convinced us to stay indoors for her session, so we just hung out at the studio and got some great shots! Her parents came along and we had a good time playing with the light and some different backgrounds!

Bridal: Carmen

Carmen and Edgar were married last weekend so I am finally able to share her bridal session photos! Her gown was beautiful, I have never seen anything like it. We went to the always beautiful Dallas Arboretum and took our time since it was pretty hot outside! Their wedding was beautiful and I will share the photos soon!
