New Year - New Logo!

We have a new logo - and we love it! Thank you to Alex at Baras Studio for designing our beautiful new brand. We are slowly incorporating it into our biz, so we're excited!

We hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas. Ours was great and it is about to get a little better: we are leaving on a much needed vacation to Puerto Rico tomorrow. Yeah!!!

Sarah & Russell's Wedding

We just shot Russell & Sarah's beautiful wedding tonight and after going through them I just had to post some on here to share with everyone! I love so many of them! Thank you Mr. and Mrs. Sims for letting us capture your day!

The Underwoods

I met with the Underwoods at the beautiful Gaylord Texan to shoot some fun family photos with all the beautiful Christmas lights. They are a fun, sweet family and we get to shoot them again this Spring!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY VANESSA

My dear sister/friend/assistant Vanessa's birthday was this past Tuesday and I can not believe I didn't mention it on here! Vanessa, happy blog-belated birthday! I hope (well, I know) you had a fantastic day! Thank you for being so great at everything you do for me and always pouring your heart out at each of our shoots! I couldn't do this without you hermana mia! We love you!

Heather's Beautiful Belly

My friend Heather is over 35 weeks pregnant and let me take a few photos! She is so cute, I spent last Saturday morning with her, her husband Ryan and daughter Madison. The photos look great, here are a few that we really liked. Not sure if I will start offering this particular line of photography, but it sure was a great experience!

Blakely & Daniel Engagement

Man, this couple is so in sync! It was like I wasn't even there when they looked at each other, the world just melted away. I know, I know! I am totally corny!!! But what can I say? One the things I always notice is the way people look at the ones they love. Because I have such an awesome job, I get to see all sorts of beautiful, meaningful glances that most of the time only last a few seconds. I love capturing those, and this couple was full of them!

Rene' & Chris

Rene' and Chris are just way too cute! This photogenic couple met me this past weekend and we had some fun shooting around the park and chit chatting a little bit about everything. I am especially excited about their wedding because it will be at the beautiful Marty Leonard Chapel in Fort Worth.

Stefanie's Bridal Session

I'm up a little early today, have so much to do before the holiday weekend and I actually have today to myself! I have a wedding tomorrow, so I am getting on the ball today and will be releasing a wedding on Pictage.com and will finish designing a couple of books (yes, I will be busy today!).

But, on to Stefanie's bridals! I actually shot these last month but could not share them due to her wedding day being last weekend. They turned out great, but she's so fun and beautiful, shooting her was a breeze. Here are some of our faves.

This wedding celebration was a family affair to the very last detail. It was such an emotional day, for all of us! For any brides looking for a private, outdoor location outside the city, the Cantina Laredo in Weatherford offers a beautiful space with awesome views and a cozy atmosphere.

Anila & Zahed

A big thank you to Anila and Zahed for letting Vanessa and I capture their wedding reception. This groom was a true gentleman in every way, and Anila just has this light about her! We wish them the very best as they begin their lives together in Canada!

What A Day! - Choya & Melvin
