Sisters: Vargas Family

We met at the awesome Japanese Gardens and had a great time making some portraits of these beautiful girls. The weather has been so awesome lately, it was great to get to know them in such a beautiful setting.

Wedding: Elia & Nick

Elia & Nick's wedding was full of so many breathtaking details. When I first met Elia she told me she wanted her wedding day to have a "Latin romance" feel to it and I think she definetely achieved that! Vanessa and I went into creative shock as soon as we walked into their reception at The Adolphus. Her florist/decorator Junior Villanueva at The Garden Gate did an amazing job. Their band, Austin's The Brew was probably one of the best bands I had ever heard at a wedding and they kept the dance floor full the entire evening. Except for when the cake was cut, when everyone seemed to take a break. You see, the cake was from La Duni. Yeah, it's one of my favorite bakeries in town and Vanessa and I may had eaten some cake that night. :)

Senior: Mallory

Mallory's mom and my mom have worked together for YEARS. When her mom contacted me to do Mallory's Senior session I couldn't believe she's graduating this year! She was so much fun to hang out with. We shot the entire session at her family's backyard, which to quote my mom "it's beautiful and you will have lots of great backgrounds". Yeah, Mom, you weren't kiddin'.

Hope you love these Mallory (and Tamara!).

Engaged: Michelle & Tim

When Michelle told me we were going to the Delaney Vineyards to shoot hers and Tim's engaged session I was right down giddy. I drive by there all the time and I often thought about how cool it would be to shoot a session there!

They are a super sweet couple and we had a great shoot! My favorite moment was when Tim asked me if we could do some shots with flowers in them; I was like, uhm, we're in a vineyard, no flowers around here... and then Tim grabs his bag and pulls out a dozen roses for Michelle! Awwww! We were both pretty smitten with the gesture!

Here are some of my favorites:
