Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

We are so amazed and thankful for a great 2009! We are so grateful to each of our clients who have made it our best year yet. Thank you for choosing us to share your wedding day with you. Rachel, Efrain and I have truly loved working with all of you.

To our 2010 brides; Corrie, Katie, Lesli, Angelina, Francesca, Beth, Peggy, Joli, Chasidy, Amber, Shannon, Tracy, Chrissy, Heidi, Annette, Sarah, Cassie, Lauren and Jennifer: We are so excited to get to know you and have some fun! Can't wait to make some pretty pictures together.

To Rachel and Efra... though I tell you all the time, it feels like I don't tell you enough. I am so lucky to have you guys in my life, both business and personally. Thank you for taking care of of our couples (and of me!).

Hope everyone has a very Merry Christmas and very Happy New Year! We will be out of the office until Wednesday January 6th but will be checking emails as much as possible!

Love, C.

Here are some my favorite shots of each of our 2009 couples.

Bridal: Julie

Where do I begin? She is as beautiful inside as she is outside. I am constantly humbled with her kind comments and I am so thankful for the friendship we have formed. I think I owe Pam Yahoudy a hug.

Sorry Julie! I had to post this silly one we did while testing my light.

Boudoir: Martha

I so love shooting Boudoir sessions, though I don't get to share them on the blog very often! These are so intimate and fun, I love having a girl walk away telling me how beautiful they feel after their session. Martha wanted a special gift for her husband's 30th, so she brought her good friend Maritza, lots of great jewelry & outfits and a little wine... We had a great time, she was a great model!

Thank you for letting me share a few of them Martha! So glad he loved his gift! But, really, how could he not?!

Engaged: Brandon & Venessa

Brandon and Venessa are getting married this Friday! Frankly, I'm not only excited because they are totally down-to-earth people who love to laugh but because I get to see a couple of past brides there!

We met on a VERY COLD morning for their engagement session and though we were freezing we got some great shots and some funnel cake! Bonus!

LOVE.
Love!

Engaged: Matt & Katie

I remember the first time I met Katie we sat there and talked about anything and everything for a couple of hours. It felt like seeing an old friend rather than just someone I had just met.

And I have to say, Katie is one of those happy souls that you just want to be around. She can't stop smiling and that makes for some sweet pics! Her and Matt met me at the studio before the weather went totally freezing a couple of weeks ago and we had some fun.

Love that smile!

Love!
Love. Ha!

Wedding: Herb & Xochitl

Herb & Xochitl couldn't have asked for better weather on their October wedding day. I was hired by Xochitl's sister and Herb as a wedding surprise for Xochitl. It was so flattering to have been there! Their ceremony was at St. Pius Catholic Church and their reception was held at the new Filter Building on White Rock Lake. We really loved shooting at this venue! It had some amazing views!

Xochitl and her Mom before the ceremony.I love this one Efra got of Xochitl's Dad while I was getting some of Xochitl by herself behind him.

Love!

Love!
Herb's cake! Lately all the groom's cakes we've had have been awesome!
Wait until you see Charlie's, Rolo's and Ray's! (weddings I need to blog soon!)
At the beginning of the reception, they had a traditional Aztec dance and we had never seen anything like it before.
It was so very interesting!

Love Xochitl's reaction in the back.
All the boys loved Herb's groom's cake.
Father/Daughter dance.

Ok, so I just had to share this one because of how Xochitl's Dad was hanging on to her for dear life during the traditional vibora dance.
Love this one of Herb's Mom looking on at Herb and Xochitl dancing.
